Twin rope: the climber and the belayer are fastened two end of the rope accordingly. If the protected point is fixed (like using nail, agglutination), the two ropes can hang to the same protected lock, but you should adjust the routine vertical. If the protected point is not fixed (using ice wimble, rock wimble, rock stuff), you should use single thigh twin rope to reduce the force.
